Comfy seating and a nice atmosphere. The service is usually good this place can be very busy during weekend brunch. I tried the veggie burger last time and it's not my favourite, but their breakfast is always A+. Bonus points for having proper hot sauce!

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed. The service was prompt and skilled. The server was proactive; she overheard that we were under time pressure and asked what she could expedite to help us meet our deadline. Friendly, professional, courteous and sweet. That describes a great dessert and even greater service. And the avocado toast was delicious - perfect balance of textures and vinegar to richness of avocado. Yummers!

Great music, the front staff is very friendly and makes you feel important and home. Comprehensive variety of cocktails! They can add more scotch to the bar, though. Moderate to high pricing, but can't complain on that. Will go again.

Have the grilled cheese with bacon and a fried egg. You won't regret it. Also, their Skyline Lager. Wait staff is very friendly too.

Drove by last weekend and just had to go back and try it. The food excellent. I wanted to try their burger, but their specialty sandwich, a turkey salad club, called out to me and it was amazing! Very large and not expensive. The service was great too, enjoyed the server's lovely Irish accent. Love the decor! Going back this weekend.

Skyline is a neighborhood gem! The original retro interior brings you back to the 1960s and has been well kept to maintain comfortable look and feel. The food is awesome and always delicious at a great price. Meat is ground in house so if you have a soft spot for a blue rare burger, Skyline won’t disappoint.

The 70’s Skyline has been perfectly restored. Great food, service, music, everything. Diner up front, booths and bar in the middle and Dining room in the back.

Food is fairly good, the view is great. It is quite pricey. If you are going up the tower anyways it's worthwhile, but otherwise there are better places for the price point.

What a gem! I've been hearing about this diner from my family for so long so I finally got here! It's absolutely perfect. My Cod Cake Benny was perfection. Great coffee too. Must return to try more things on the menu. Mmmmm.

I ordered Fried Chicken Benny, only served on Saturdays. Very very very good, you have to try. Skyline has old style speakers, plays great and relax music. It's one of my favorite diners in Toronto.

Great place to wash your sins away or just waste time- sometimes there’s no better feeling than that.A very kind but shy man held the door open for me, and when I thanked him he responded in a very strange British accent. All kinds of characters at the skyline! Good merlot and good cold cans.

Staff are always friendly and helpful with suggestions. I generally am there for breakfast or brunch. Coffee is great as are caesars.Went once on a Wednesday evening. Had live 50's(?) Hawaiian band. Delightful. Was a fellow walking around hawking peanut butter pie that came with a generous side of jam. Amazing addition to the music. Do yourself a favour and try a Wednesday evening.

For the price of the food and the amazing taste, this is a great spot to grab lunch and the people who work there are so so nice. 10/10 would recommend. also, it’s in a nice setting with natural light and it’s not very crowded!

Skyline is what you would expect of a diner. A fantastic brunch/lunch menu with all of the classics.It was my first time here, so I was extremely excited as I've heard really great things. The restaurant didn't seem overly busy, so perhaps they were just understaffed, but I wasn't greeted while waiting to be seated for close to ten minutes. A quick "we are clearing tables" or acknowledgement goes a long way. Once seated, we had the sweetest waitress. We were served our meals promptly, however when it was time for the bill, I sought out another server. Then again had to wait another 10-15 minutes to pay. Not an ideal experience but I would still go back.

This was a truly lovely experience. The place, the staff and the food are all wonderful and the price is very reasonable. I went for a Saturday brunch with a friend and it has definitely become a new favorite. The food was perfectly prepared and the butler steak I got was cooked perfectly which is hard to find even in an upscale restaurant. I totally recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for good food and a place with a bit of history.

nice place. cool old school bar vibe, with a good menu of classic diner food. solid club sandwich and fries. also pretty good nicoise salad. oh, also very good coffee, which is no small thing.

Awesome diner! Really enjoyed coming here for breakfast. Really fast service and lots of good choices on the menu. The food was delicious, and the prices were pretty good. Will be back again!

Pure retro resto/diner! Great service. Good menu and alcohol offerings. First time here, and I'm a local. So don't miss it, or take it for granted.

The thing I like most about the Skyline Restaurant is being in it. I enjoy going here to meet up with friends. It's a great place to get together. To sit, to talk and just enjoy some company. For me it's all about the ambience and laid back nature of this place. Whether you came in for a meal or a drink it's just a great space to be in.

Classic diner with a hip feel. Friendly staff, great menu selection, great cocktails and excellent food. Lots of locals coming in which tells you how good it is. We had lunch from the classic lunch/brunch menu and would love to go back to check out the dinner menu!
